Sweeter than Honey Cotton Candy Co.

1. Booking and Deposit
To secure your event date with Sweeter than Honey mobile cotton candy cart rental, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the event. Failure to pay the deposit or final balance may result in the cancellation of the booking without refund.

2. Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to the scheduled event date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
If you cancel your booking 14 to 29 days prior to the event, 50% of your deposit will be refunded.
If you cancel your booking less than 14 days prior to the event, no refund of the deposit will be issued.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Sweeter than Honey at sweeterthanhoneyccc@gmail.com . The date of receipt of the cancellation notice determines eligibility for any refund.
Sweeter than Honey reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., equipment failure, safety concerns). In such cases, a full refund of all payments, including the deposit, will be provided, or an alternative date may be offered at the client’s discretion.

3. Damages and Liability

The renter is fully responsible for any damages to the cotton candy cart, equipment, or accessories caused by guests, attendees, or any other parties during the event. This includes, but is not limited to, physical damage to the cart, spinning machine, or serving tools.
The renter agrees to cover the full cost of repairs or replacement for any damaged equipment, as determined by Sweeter than Honey, within 7 days of receiving an invoice.
Sweeter than Honey is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained by the renter, guests, or third parties during the event.

4. Event Details and Logistics

The renter must provide accurate event details (date, time, location, and estimated guest count) at the time of booking. Any changes to these details must be communicated in writing at least 14 days prior to the event.
The renter is responsible for ensuring adequate space, power supply (if required), and access for the cotton candy cart setup. Sweeter than Honey will confirm specific requirements upon booking.
The renter agrees to comply with any safety or operational instructions provided by Sweeter than Honey staff during the event.

5. Service Performance

Sweeter than Honey will provide the agreed-upon cotton candy cart services, including flavors, colors, and duration as outlined in the booking agreement.
The number of servings provided will be based on the package selected and guest count provided by the renter. Additional servings beyond the agreed amount may incur extra charges.
Sweeter than Honey reserves the right to adjust service offerings (e.g., flavors or colors) due to supply availability, with prior notification to the renter.

6. Weather and Outdoor Events

For outdoor events, the renter must provide a sheltered area for the cotton candy cart to protect equipment from weather elements (e.g., rain, excessive heat, or wind).
If weather conditions pose a safety risk or prevent service delivery, Sweeter than Honey may cancel or modify the service, with a full refund or rescheduling option offered at the renter’s discretion.

7. Force Majeure
Sweeter than Honey is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies. In such cases, a full refund or rescheduling option will be provided.

8. Agreement and Modifications

By paying the deposit, the renter agrees to these terms and conditions.
Any modifications to the booking or these terms must be agreed upon in writing by both Sweeter than Honey and the renter.
Sweeter than Honey reserves the right to update these terms and conditions, with updated terms applying to bookings made after the revision date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Terms of Refund:
Returns are applicable only to cancellations of bookings for the Sweeter than Honey mobile cotton candy cart service. Cancellations must be initiated within the following timeframes:

Full Refund: Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the scheduled event date.
Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days prior to the event date (50% of the deposit refunded).
No Refund: Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event date.
No returns or refunds are available for services already rendered or for consumable products (e.g., cotton candy) provided during the event.

2. To initiate a cancellation and refund request:

Provide your booking confirmation number, event date, and reason for cancellation.
Requests must be received within the timeframes outlined in Section 1 to be eligible for a refund.
A confirmation of the cancellation request will be sent within 48 hours, detailing any applicable refund.
Failure to follow this process may delay or void refund eligibility.

3. Reason for Cancellation:
Cancellations may be requested for any reason, including but not limited to:

Change in event plans or cancellation of the event.
Incorrect booking details provided by the customer (e.g., wrong date or location).
Dissatisfaction with proposed services, provided the cancellation is within the allowable timeframe as lined out in section 1.
Refunds for reasons such as dissatisfaction with services rendered at the event will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed unless there is proven negligence by Sweeter than Honey (e.g., failure to deliver agreed-upon services).

4. Process for Return

Provide your name, event type, event date, and reason for cancellation.
Requests must be received within the timeframes outlined in Section 1 to be eligible for a refund.

5. Process of Refund

Terms of Refund: Refunds are issued based on the cancellation timeframe:
- More than 30 days prior: Full refund of the deposit.
- 14 to 30 days prior: 50% refund of the deposit.
- Less than 14 days prior: No refund of the deposit or any payments made.
Duration: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
Payment Details: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the deposit (e.g., credit card, bank transfer). If the original payment method is unavailable, an alternative method may be arranged with the customer’s consent.
No refunds will be issued for services already provided or for additional charges incurred during the event (e.g., extra hours or servings).
